    Anker’s fastest airline-friendly power bank is now available

    Anker’s fastest airline-friendly power bank is now available

    The Prime Power Bank’s 26,250mAh capacity (99.75Wh at 3.8V) keeps it airline-friendly and below the TSA’s 100 watt-hours limit for devices in carry-on luggage. It features a pair of USB-C ports that can each output up to 140W of power simultaneously so you can charge two laptops, even if they happen to be a pair of power-hungry 16-inch MacBook Pros. And with a total power output of 300W you can also add a smartphone to the mix and charge it at 20W using an additional USB-A port while your laptops are powering up.

    Those USB-C ports are bi-directional, and when both are connected to a pair of 140W USB-C PD 3.1 chargers, the Prime Power Bank itself can charge at up to 250W, taking it from dead to 80 percent in about 35 minutes, Anker claims. You can monitor power input and output using the battery’s built-in screen, or through Anker’s mobile app while it’s connected to your smartphone over Bluetooth.

    At $179.99 you can actually get more capacity from EcoFlow’s Rapid Pro Power Bank 27k for less money. At 27,650mAh it slightly edges out Anker’s and will charge slightly faster when connected to a pair of 140W USB-C PD 3.1 chargers. EcoFlow also includes a built-in retractable USB-C cable, but at 699 grams the Rapid Pro Power Bank 27k is slightly heavier and bulkier than Anker’s Prime Power Bank (26k, 300W) which weighs in at 600 grams. If you’re trying to pack light…ish while traveling, Anker’s could be worth the splurge.

    Also now available through the company’s online store and Amazon is the Anker Prime Charger that debuted alongside the new power bank at IFA 2025. It’s $149.99, temporarily discounted to $120, and features a trio of USB-C ports that can each output up to 140W – although the charger’s total output is limited to up to 210W. Power use can be monitored through a tiny built-in display or wirelessly using Anker’s mobile app.
