Although the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro are still fairly new, having launched just a couple of months ago, we’re already seeing replacement parts become available, in case you’ve already had an accident and want to try repairing your device yourself. It should come as no surprise, but the parts are now available directly from iFixit (via 9to5Google).

When it comes to the Pro models, there’s a pretty good lineup of parts here, with the main display, camera module, and back cover all available. The prices aren’t all that bad either, with the main display being the most costly part. You also have roughly the same parts availability for the Pixel 10 Pro XL, along with the Pixel 10.

Just in case you have an accident

While the right to repair movement was pretty strong just a few years back, things have cooled down considerably since then. Although we have yet to see a repairable phone really go mainstream, there have been some great options from brands like Fairphone. The brand has released new models while still supporting most of their previous devices.

And while older Fairphone devices were pretty behind the times when it came to specifications, the latest Fairphone 6 actually delivers a relatively modern device with modular parts that can be swapped for repair. It’s a good thing to be able to repair your own products if you want, but having the option to choose the solution that works best for you is the most important.

If you’re curious about picking up some parts from iFixit, you can head to their website. Not only do they have parts for the latest Pixel models, but they also have parts for previous models as well. So, if you want to repair the original Pixel sitting in the back of your closet, they’ll have parts for it.

In addition, they also have parts for plenty of other devices, as well, so it’s a good place to check out to see what they have to offer. Just make sure to back up your information before starting any repair process.
