The news has come in a little later than usual, but we now have our second wave of Xbox Game Pass arrivals for Oct. 2025… and the first few days of November.

It’s another diverse list, but the flagship Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is definitely getting most of the love this time around. At least one of these games is going to take up a lot of my time, though, so I’m feeling pretty good about this list.

You can check out the original post at News.Xbox.com if you’d like, but you’ll find everything you need right below — including a surprise addition not included in the original announcement from Xbox.

I’m already playing The Outer Worlds 2 (it’s awesome)

Out of this bunch, my most anticipated is easily The Outer Worlds 2 — and I’m already playing it (courtesy of a code from Xbox Game Studios). I’m already loving this sci-fi RPG sequel from Obsidian Entertainment, and I’m fairly certain it’ll end up being one of my favorite games of the year.

In our full, in-depth The Outer Worlds 2 review, my colleague, Samuel Tolbert, said:

“The Outer Worlds 2 doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but delivers a more refined version of a formula that worked. Better exploration and combat buoy a tight role-playing experience that feels crunchy and isn’t afraid of cutting off branches depending on player skills. The overarching story is a bit more self-serious than its predecessor, but the numerous side quests still lean comedic. A few bugs aside, it’s not a game to miss.”

Apart from The Outer Worlds 2, we’re also getting the immensely satisfying PowerWash Simulator 2 (releasing today) and Football Manager 26 (coming in early November). As an added surprise, Pacific Drive just landed on Xbox alongside a new expansion, and it rolled onto Game Pass at the exact same time. Nice!

All the latest news, reviews, and guides for Windows and Xbox diehards.

I think it’s a solid list for Xbox Game Pass, but it’s definitely not quite as impressive as what we got in the first half of October. You can keep up with all the recent and upcoming Xbox Game Pass arrivals right here on Windows Central.

If you’re looking to re-up your Game Pass subscription and want to avoid the recent price hikes (we all do), you can currently get 3 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for just $54.99 at Amazon.com right now — giving you a full month and some change for free.

    FAQ

How did Xbox Game Pass change?

Xbox Game Pass recently underwent some massive changes, rebranding the tiers to Essential, Premium, PC, and Ultimate, and raising prices for PC from $11.99/m to $16.49/m and Ultimate from $19.99/m to a whopping $29.99/m. You can check out our complete Xbox Game Pass FAQ for everything you need to know.

Is Xbox Game Pass still worth it?

It really depends on the kind of player you are. If you love to play a wide variety of different games, than Xbox Game Pass still pays for itself rather quickly — even without considering all the different benefits and perks included. If you tend to stick to one or two big games (especially live service games like Call of Duty), though, you may not find much value in Xbox Game Pass. I know I’m staying subscribed, though.

Which Xbox Game Pass tier should I choose?

Again, it depends on what you want! Players who want it all, and play a lot of different games (especially across multiple platforms) will get the most out of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. PC Game Pass is still the best for PC-only players, and Xbox Game Pass Premium has become quite a great option for those who are somewhere in the middle and want a little bit of everything.

What’s the best deal on Xbox Game Pass right now?

Right now, the best deal gets you 3 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $54.99 at Amazon.com. Considering a single month now costs $30, those are some sizeable savings.

Can I stack Xbox Game Pass codes?

You absolutely can! You can stack up to 36 months, or three years, of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It’s best to look for deals and stack when you can, that way you can avoid any price increases until your stored subscription completely runs out.
