Wyze rolled out the Duo Cam Pan today, a smart security camera that pairs dual 2K lenses with pan-and-tilt motion tracking to reduce blind spots. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, it can sweep an area or lock on a subject while keeping the full scene in view.
The Duo Cam Pan’s two lenses work together to cover more ground, either watching adjacent areas or splitting duties so one tracks movement while the other holds a fixed view. It’s built for corner mounting, making it well-suited for porches and exterior walls. A compact form and IP65 weather resistance let it handle indoor rooms or exposed outdoor spots, while reducing the need for multiple devices or lengthy installations.

Its second camera’s 360-degree pan and 180-degree tilt allow it to follow movement across an entire space, while both 2K lenses deliver full-color images day or night. Two motion-activated spotlights and a 100db siren provide visible and audible deterrents to trespassers. With Pan Scan, users can program up to four custom waypoints for the camera to patrol automatically.
Two-way audio lets users talk to visitors, delivery drivers, or even pets directly through the Wyze app using the built-in microphone and speaker. Continuous 24/7 local recording is to a user-provided microSD card with up to 512GB of capacity, with no subscription required. Setup should be quick with Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi 6 support promises a stronger, more reliable connection.
The Duo Cam Pan appears to offer more flexibility than a typical pan-and-tilt model. The dual-lens design could let one camera track a child playing in the yard while the other keeps a steady watch on the driveway, for example. Add in smart home integrations with Alexa, Google Assistant, IFTTT, and Wyze Automations, and it should slot neatly into an existing setup. Control through the Wyze app ties it all together, potentially giving homeowners a blend of active tracking and consistent coverage that single-lens designs can’t match.
