‘The Chair Company’: Release Schedule and How to Watch

The Chair Company, Tim Robinson’s new off-kilter comedy, follows a mild-mannered yet uptight businessman who falls down a conspiracy rabbit hole after an accident at work. Just how far does this conspiracy go?

Robinson stars as William Ronald Trosper, the man in question, who becomes obsessed with a mysterious chair company that may actually be up to something sinister. The series also stars Lake Bell, Sophia Lillis, Will Price, Joseph Tudisco and Lou Diamond Phillips.

Robinson and Zack Kanin created the series. They previously brought the underappreciated comedy Detroiters to Comedy Central and the celebrated sketch comedy series I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson to Netflix. The Chair Company, while not a sketch show, features Robinson’s signature awkward, raw, unhinged style. And I am totally here for it.

Read on for more info about how to watch The Chair Company and how a VPN might help.

The Chair Company release schedule: When to watch the premiere

The premiere episode of The Chair Company will premiere on Sunday, Oct. 12, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and HBO Max. The remaining seven episodes will debut weekly on Sundays until the finale, which will be released on Nov. 30.

Here’s the complete episodic release schedule:

    • Episode 1, Life goes by too f**king fast, it really does: Sunday, Oct. 12
    • Episode 2, New blood. There’s 5 Rons now: Sunday, Oct. 19
    • Episode 3, @BrownDerbyHistoricVids Little bit of Hollywood? Okayyy: Oct. 26
    • Episode 4: Sunday, Nov. 2
    • Episode 5: Sunday, Nov. 9
    • Episode 6: Sunday, Nov. 16
    • Episode 7: Sunday, Nov. 23
    • Episode 8: Sunday, Nov. 30

    Max

You’ll need a monthly or annual subscription to HBO Max if you want to watch The Chair Company. The cheapest plan, which includes ads, costs $10 per month or $100 per year — which is now less than Peacock’s ad-based tier.  If you’re looking for extra value, I suggest checking out the Max, Hulu and Disney Plus megabundle.

How to watch The Chair Company with a VPN

If you’re traveling abroad and want to keep up with your favorite shows while away from home, a VPN can help enhance your privacy and security when streaming. It encrypts your traffic and prevents your internet service provider from throttling your speeds and can also be helpful when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks while traveling, adding an extra layer of protection for your devices and logins.

VPNs are legal in many countries, including the US and Canada, and can be used for legitimate purposes such as improving online privacy and security. However, some streaming services may have policies restricting VPN use to access region-specific content. If you’re considering a VPN for streaming, check the platform’s terms of service to ensure compliance.

If you choose to use a VPN, follow the provider’s installation instructions, ensuring you’re connected securely and in compliance with applicable laws and service agreements. Some streaming platforms may block access when a VPN is detected, so verifying if your streaming subscription allows VPN use is crucial.

ExpressVPN is our current best VPN pick for people who want a reliable and safe VPN; the service is compatible with a variety of devices. It’s typically $13 a month but if you sign up for an annual subscription for $100, you’ll get four months free and save 70%.

Note that ExpressVPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
