As for the tablet itself, the Amazon Fire HD 8 boasts an eight-inch HD screen, which is more than enough for browsing the web or watching a movie. It also has an all-day battery life, which means you can take it with you without needing a charger. Get all this and more for under $65.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 won’t feature in our guide to the best tablets, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth having. If you don’t want to part with much cash but would like a portable device that is bigger than your phone for basic everyday jobs and light entertainment needs, then the Fire HD 8 is a fantastic shout.
Aside from the impressive eight-inch screen, you’ll also get some neat AI-powered features such as Writing Assist and Wallpaper Creator. If you’re looking for some downtime, there are plenty of apps and games to access via the Amazon Appstore, although there’s no Google Play support like with other Android-based tablets.
