The Redmi K series has solidified itself as the go-to option for flagship killers in China, and the latest offering is the best one yet. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a Pro Max member in the series, but the Redmi K90 Pro Max is just that special of a phone offering Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a huge 7,560mAh silicon-carbon battery and an impressive audio setup.
K90 Pro Max comes with a dual speaker setup with one unit at the top near the ear speaker and another located at the bottom next to the USB-C port. But this time, Redmi also added an independent woofer on the back next to the cameras. The entire 2.1 channel sound system gets Bose sound tuning with claims of class-leading bass output and rich, detailed sound.

The back also houses a triple camera setup with three 50MP sensors. The main one is lifted from the Xiaomi 17 and uses a 1/1.31″ Light Fusion 950 sensor with OIS, offering a 23mm equivalent focal range and covering 13.5EV dynamic range.
You also get a 50MP periscope telephoto with a 115mm equivalent focal range and 5x optical zoom. The third module is an 18mm equivalent ultrawide lens with a 102˚ field of view.

Upfront, Redmi K90 Pro Max brings a 6.9″ OLED screen with 2,608 x 1,200px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is rated at a 3,500-nit peak local brightness and features Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass protection. It also integrates a 3D ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner and a 32MP selfie cam.
The phone boots HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 out of the box and features IP68 ingress protection. The 7,560mAh silicon-carbon battery supports 100W wired, 50W wireless and 22.5W reverse wireless charging.

K90 Pro Max comes in black and white colors with textured matte glass as well as a blue color which brings a denim-like fabric on the back. The baseline version retails for CNY 3,999 ($561) while the top-tier 16GB and 1TB model goes for CNY 5,299 ($743).
