These drugs are generally used to help manage Type 2 diabetes and obesity. This new partnership shows how FuturHealth wants its members to have all the right tools to achieve their weight-loss goals through medications (if needed), nutrition and fitness.

The fitness industry is rethinking strategies to better understand and support clients on weight-loss medication, and even businesses like the travel and restaurant industries are finding ways to attract people who take this medication, whether through offering wellness retreats or changing up menu items.
It’ll be interesting to see how GLP-1s and similar weight-loss drugs continue to influence the wellness and fitness industry as businesses pivot to cater to this growing demographic.
