We’ve had a Nothing Phone, a Nothing Phone Plus, a Nothing Phone Pro, and a few CMF Phones, but this is the first time Nothing has released a Lite phone ever. Meet the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite, the brand’s first entry-level phone under its own brand.

Upon further inspection, the Nothing phone (3a) Lite is a close counterpart to the CMF Phone 2 Pro, but that phone is a bit lighter and has a more capable camera system. The rest of the specs are nearly identical though – you get a 6.77-inch 1080p 120Hz AMOLED, a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging, and a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro SoC.

It’s not obvious which phone is nicer to look at. The CMF is unique with its swappable rear panels, but the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite has Nothing’s signature semi-transparent rear glass panel.

The phone has a matte frame and glossy glass panels, making for a relatively slippery unit in the hand.

There’s also a Glyph interface of sorts, but it’s now down to just one LED in the bottom-right corner of the rear panel. It’ll light up when you get notifications and it’s quite bright.

Nothing Phone (3a) Lite comes in Black and White colors. It starts at $249/€249/£249 for the 8/128GB trim and goes up to $279/€279/£279 for the 8/256GB version. Open sales started today and we just got the device for review so we’ll be adding it to our review pipeline as well.

Inside the box is a USB-C cable and a plain silicone case.
