From daily steps, water, sleep, to even calories consumed and calories burned, we’re getting used to tracking almost every aspect of our daily lives. However, this one easily recognizable brand that is best known for its plumbing products wants you to go one step further.

The brand I’m talking about is Wisconsin-based Kohler, and well, the company has a new product that can help you track your ‘waste’ (via TechCrunch).

Named Dekoda, which is likely a play on the word ‘decoder,’ the new device is essentially just a compact clip on camera that attaches to your toilet bowl to analyze your waste. It’s worth noting that Kohler describes the device as an optical sensor, and not a ‘camera,’ which is a deliberate choice to prevent consumer discomfort. The company also adds that “Dekoda’s sensors see down into your toilet and nowhere else.”

Dekoda is a first-of-its-kind health tracker that attaches to the toilet. It analyzes gut health and hydration and detects the presence of blood in the toilet bowl, providing data for building healthy habits.

It’s a wearable, but only for your toilet bowl

Giving ‘data dump’ a whole new meaning

The device, as seen in the images above, is compact and sleek, specifically designed to fit seamlessly into any bathroom. The device sports a built-in clamp and is easy to set up and get running, with no special tools required. What it does need, however, is an active Kohler Health membership, which starts at $7/month.

The device shares its analysis on the Kohler Health app, where users get to access personalized information about their gut health and hydration data, in addition to possible signs of blood, if any. I’m easily scared by every WebMD article I read online, so this is definitely not a device for me. However, if you’re the type of person who can optimize their life further with data about their waste, the $600 device might just be for you.

The device is now available to pre-order, with shipping starting Tuesday, October 21.
