The wait is almost over: Google’s next hardware event is slated to take place on August 20. We’re expecting big reveals about the Pixel 10, not to mention new wearables and earbuds.

Here’s how you can watch the event live, and an overview of what you can expect to see there.

How to watch the Made by Google event on August 20

The next Made by Google event kicks off on August 20 at 1 PM Eastern and 10 AM Pacific. Google streams its hardware events on the Made by Google YouTube channel, where you’ll be able to watch as it all unfolds live.

There’s no live stream link available yet, but we’ll update this post to point you to it as soon as it’s up.

Made by Google events are where Google unveils its flagship hardware: phones, watches, audio products, you name it.

Based on the multitude of leaks we’ve been seeing around Google’s upcoming releases lately, we have what seems like a pretty complete picture of what the company will show off in August. Here’s what to expect.

    Four new Pixel 10 phones

The headliner at Google’s upcoming hardware event will be new phones.

Based on the leaks we’ve been seeing for weeks now, it’s looking familiar from last year: we’ll get full reveals for the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

Google’s actually been teasing the 10 Pro on the Google Store since July.

Google’s 2025 smartphone lineup is looking a lot like what we got in last year’s Pixel 9 phones, with designs that are nearly identical.

Leaks indicate that they’ll come in new colors, though, including a lovely gray called Moonstone.

The base-model Pixel 10 will apparently also be available in a blue color that looks a lot like the first-gen Pixel’s Really Blue (seen above).

There are reportedly some decent changes under the hood.

The Pixel 10 series will come with a new Tensor G5 chipset that should bring processing power and efficiency gains, and it seems like Pixel 10 phones will be the first major Android handsets to support the MagSafe-like Qi2 standard with new Pixel Snap accessories.

The base-model Pixel 10 has also been reported to come with a telephoto camera, a first for Google’s non-Pro phones.

    Pixel Watch 4

According to rumors, Google’s got something up its sleeve for Pixel Watch fans, too. The Pixel Watch 4 leaked extensively on August 7, with prolific leaker Evan Blass sharing tons of information on X.

Leaked info points to a wearable that looks very similar to previous generations, retaining the trademark pebble-like design and sport-style silicone band.

It’ll come in 41 and 45mm case sizes, and based on leaked renders, it looks like the bezels around the display may be a bit smaller than on the Pixel Watch 3.

In addition to the same three case colors we’ve seen in prior generations — Silver, Champagne Gold, Matte Black, and Polished Silver — it appears the Pixel Watch 4 will also be available in the same gray Moonstone shade as the Pixel 10.

It seems the Pixel Watch 4 will also get a new charger that it slots into sideways.

That’s the third Pixel Watch charger design in as many generations, which isn’t great — but the new design means the watch’s face will be visible at a distance while the watch charges.

    New Pixel Buds

It seems like Google’s gearing up to release a new pair of Pixel Buds. Not content with having spoiled the Pixel 10 and Pixel Watch 4, Evan Blass tweeted details about a forthcoming pair of Pixel Buds 2a on August 8.

Unlike the first Pixel Buds A-Series, which featured an open design, the Buds 2a will apparently come with active noise cancellation. They’ll be available in dark gray and light purple colorways.

Google let slip in early August that it’s cooking up a Moonstone colorway for its Pixel Buds Pro 2, when it briefly published images of the buds on its online store.

The images have since been removed, but given we’re expecting a bunch of other Moonstone devices at Made by Google, it seems like a sure thing we’ll see the recolored Buds Pro 2 there, as well.

    Not much longer now

The Pixel 10 series may look very similar to last year’s Pixel 9 phones on the surface, but upgrades like a telephoto camera for the base Pixel 10 and Qi2-style charging for the whole lot, there’s a lot to look forward to at Made by Google ’25.

Check back on August 20 and beyond for more coverage on Pixel 10, Pixel Watch 4, and all things Google.
