If you’ve been saving your Play Points, now might be the time to cash in, especially with Google adding some new perks and experiences. The new prizes to claim are themed around the Austin City Limits Music Festival, which is taking place over the next week. Google will have its own pop-up experience at the event where folks will be able to play games and earn prizes.

The good news is that if you’re a Sliver+ Play Points member, you’ll get exclusive access to Google’s pop-up experience. The brand will offer exclusive prizes, along with tour merchandise from artists like Role Model and MARINA. The even better news is that there’s also going to be fun activities for those that can’t make it.

This is going to be available for Gold+ members, with the ability to unlock their own digital road case in order to claim special prizes like slipmats, artist tour merch, and a limited-edition Road Case Bag by Nik Bentel. If the festival scene isn’t really your thing, you can also head into the city and catch a meet and greet with artist Role Model at the Google Store in Domain North Side in Austin.

Overall, not a bad way to have some fun, while also spending some Play Points if you have them. Of course, there are probably more interesting ways to spend your points, especially when it takes quite a bit of time and money to accumulate a good amount. If you’re not sure what Play Points are, it’s rewards points you can earn from the Google Play Store.

For each dollar that you spend, you’ll earn points. And when you accumulate a certain amount, you’ll be moved to different tiers with new perks. It’s free to join, so it’s worth checking out if you’re someone that spends money on apps and services that are available on Android devices.
