As we inch closer to Black Friday, we’re seeing more and more juicy discounts for items you normally wouldn’t be able to afford on most days.

Like this limited-time 15% bargain for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, one of the most powerful GPUs with high performance and gen-to-gen uplift, for $849.99 at Newegg and other retailers.

What makes the RTX 5070 TI worth upgrading your PC with?

Our friends at TechRader went hands-on with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 TI and walked away so impressed by its capabilities that they gave it a near-perfect score.

Their praise for this GPU stems from its NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation technology, 16GB of RAM, base GPU clock frequency of 2.588 gigahertz, Phase-change GPU thermal pad, and GPU Tweak III software.

With these advanced components working in tandem, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 TI can perform absurdly well to the point that it will enable PC games to run at 1440p with 120fps or 4K resolutions with 60fps.

The only major drawback of this GPU is that its MSRP of $999.99 is too high to warrant its performance rates. This is especially apparent when compared to other graphics cards that have similar performance but cost less at retail, like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super (which TechRader also reviewed and gave it 4.5/5 stars)

Thankfully, this month’s ongoing early Black Friday sales event has chopped the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 TI’s MSRP down to a somewhat more manageable cost of $849.99 at Newegg and other retailers.

So, if you’re looking to get one of the best premium GPUs to help your PC run spec-hungry AAA titles like Cyberpunk 2077 or the recently released Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, then now’s the best time to upgrade, as this item is running out of stock fast all over the internet.

    FAQ

How is RTX 5070 Ti compared to the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090?

The RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 have higher performance rates for 4K gaming, but they cost way more than the RTX 5070 TI, as the RTX 5080 has an MSRP of $1599.99, and the RTX 5090’s MSRP can be $2,999.99 or higher, depending on the brand.

Will the RTX 5070 Ti be bottlenecked by older CPUs or PCIe 3.0/4.0 slot?s

This GPU’s performance won’t be severely bottlenecked when put into a computer’s PCIe 3.0 or 4.0 slot, but when paired with an outdated CPU, it could be.

As such, it is recommended you pair it with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D to help the RTX 5070 TI reach its full potential.

Is it worth waiting for a “Super” variant?

There are rumors flying around that plans for “Super” variants of NVIDIA’s RTX 50 GPU series have been cancelled due to memory shortages caused by AI.

If this turns out to be true, you may have to settle for regular versions of the RTX 5070 TI while it’s on sale before the whole RTX 50 series gets its prices potentially hiked.

    When does Black Friday start?

Black Friday is set to start on November 28, 2025, and last until December 1, 2025, when it will be replaced by Cyber Monday.

However, retailers have already begun hosting deals for the past month, like this collection of early Black Friday GPU sales, and will continue to do so as we head into Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
