Yesterday we caught the Poco F8 Ultra in the Geekbench online database, with a prototype having run the benchmark. This revealed that it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.

Today it was the Poco F8 Pro’s turn to run Geekbench, and this has confirmed that it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The prototype which ran the benchmark had 12GB of RAM, but of course more options could be offered upon launch.

The phone will run Android 16 from day one, undoubtedly with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 on top. The F8 Pro has already received some certifications, and its box recently leaked advertising “Sound by Bose”.

The F8 Ultra is rumored to be a rebranded Redmi K90 Pro Max, and if that pans out then it wouldn’t surprise us if the F8 Pro was a rebranded Redmi K90.

If it is, then expect it to sport a 6.59-inch 1156×2510 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 2,560Hz PWM, and 3,500-nit peak brightness, up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, a triple rear camera system (50MP main with OIS, 50MP telephoto with 2.5x optical zoom, 8MP ultrawide), a 20MP selfie camera, and a 7,100 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging.
