Disney’s latest round of streaming service price hikes go into effect Tuesday, with price increases being spread across standalone subscriptions for Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN, as well as bundles and its live TV platform, Hulu Plus Live TV. The last time the company upped the costs of its streaming services was — you guessed it — October 2024.

The news followed Disney’s September launch of its new ESPN platform and backlash over the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show. What will subscriptions changes look like now? If you’re an existing subscriber to the affected plans, you’ll see the bump in your bill on or after Tuesday, while newbies can sign up at the new rates on that date.

Both Disney Plus standalone plans will rise in price by a few dollars, but Hulu’s live TV subscriptions will get the biggest jump overall. Here’s a breakdown of the upcoming price changes.

    Disney streaming prices Oct. 2025

Previous price (with ads) New price (with ads) Previous price (ad-free) New price (ad-free)
    Disney Plus $10 $12 $16 $19
    Hulu $10 $12 $19 no change
    ESPN Select $12 $13 — —
Disney Plus, Hulu bundle $11 $13 $20 no change
Disney Plus, Hulu, ESPN Select bundle $17 $20 $27 $30
    Disney Plus, Hulu, HBO Max $17 $20 $30 $33
Hulu Plus Live TV (with Disney Plus, ESPN Select) $83 $90 $96 $100
    Hulu Plus Live TV only $82 $89 — —

According to the Disney Plus support page, Legacy subscribers with the Disney Plus Premium, Hulu, ESPN Select bundle will pay $25 a month instead of $22, and those with the Hulu Plus Live TV legacy plan will see the monthly cost rise from $88 to $95. These plans are not available for new customers. Pricing will remain the same for certain subscriptions, so check your email to see whether yours is affected. Notably, Hulu’s ad-free plan, the ad-free Disney Duo bundle and new bundles that include ESPN Unlimited are not increasing.

With this shift, Disney’s on-demand streaming services are going to be in the same price ballpark as Peacock, Apple TV Plus and HBO Max. Its live TV service will be significantly higher than rival YouTube TV and comparable to the cost of cable TV packages — just without the contract. Netflix, Peacock and Apple TV Plus have all bumped their pricing up this year, and Warner Bros. Discovery head David Zaslav recently said that increases are coming for HBO Max.
