Google revealed the Pixel 10 lineup, including the Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, during its Made by Google event. New phone days are always filled with excitement, but as you secure your new Pixel 10, don’t forget to pick up protection. When you’re spending hundreds, even thousands, on a piece of hardware, you’ll want to keep it safe.

Between random scuffs and scratches from daily use to accidental drops, not using a case for your Pixel 10 is risky. While I regularly walk around without a phone case just to feel something, I don’t recommend it. It’s not worth it. So, here are the Pixel 10 cases currently available. I’ll update this list with the latest options and CNET’s top picks once we’ve tested them.

If you’ve yet to secure your Pixel 10 device, you can preorder an unlocked phone directly from Google, Best Buy or Amazon. Additionally, our experts have gathered the best Pixel 10 deals, including trade-in offers from top carriers.

    Pixel 10 cases

Spigen is another top brand in the world of phone accessories. The Spigen Tough Armor MagFit case for the Pixel 10 Pro XL has a hybrid structure with cushioning tech. It’s thin but super durable, and comes with a built-in kickstand for hands-free activities, like watching Netflix on your phone while you “work.”

OtterBox Defender Series Pro XT Case: $80

Here at CNET, our experts spend a lot of time testing phone cases, and some names always make our best lists. Otterbox is one of those brands. Otterbox promises “unparalleled protection” against everyday bumps and falls. Cloak your Pixel 10 or Pixel 10 Pro in the Defender Series Pro XT case with its rugged dual-layer rubber edges that absorb shocks and make gripping easier. It also supports the new Qi2 Pixelsnap charging.

    Google Pixelsnap case: $70

Preorder Google’s official Pixelsnap case to protect your new Pixel 10 Pro Fold. It’s sleek with drop-tested durability. It comes in three colors: jade, obsidian and moonstone. The Pixelsnap case will also easily snap on and off compatible magnetic accessories.

Mous is another brand we often recommend. If you’re looking for a clear case with serious protection, this might be good for you. It’s shockproof, scratch-resistant and made with anti-yellow material. The raised edges around the screen and camera provide added protection. Mous also notes that this case is “certified to meet Google’s standards for Pixel.”

    Google Pixelsnap case: $50

The Pixelsnap case is a polycarbonate shell made with 75% recycled material. It has a microfiber lining that’ll be gentle on your phone while protecting it from everyday scratches and scuffs. It also comes in seven gorgeous colors. Preorders are open now.

This is the perfect everyday case for Mous fans, who want a sleek and lightweight option. It’s the brand’s thinnest Pixel case yet and was developed with Google’s design team. The case is compatible with Qi2, Pixelsnap and MagSafe accessories. It also comes in multiple colors, including black and smoky green.

For Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro

The Torras magnetic case for Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro is so slim, you probably won’t notice it. But you’ll be grateful got it if you end up dropping your phone. The Torras case has “military grade protection against drops up to 12 feet.” There’s also a 1.2mm raised lip around the screen and a 1.5mm raised camera bezel to help prevent scratches.

For Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro

    Peak Design fabric case: $50

Peak Design cases are a touch of luxury. The brand makes one of the best camera backpacks around, and the phone cases are equally impressive. This fabric case not only looks fantastic, but it also comes with SlimLink, which makes it compatible with all Peak’s mobile mounts and accessories.

For Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro

Add a layer of protection to your new Pixel 10 or Pixel 10 Pro without hiding its design. This Natbok case has a high-quality polycarbonate back that’s scratch-resistant. The case is super lightweight and Natbok says it’ll stay clear instead of yellowing over time.

For Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro

If you’re going with Google’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold, this clear case is a solid budget-friendly option. There’s a magnetic option and a non-magnetic option. It’ll keep your new foldable safe with minimal bulk and you won’t have to worry about yellowing.

If you like OtterBox cases but you’re on a budget, this may be a good option for you. The Qinmay case has an OtterBox vibe at a fraction of the cost. It offers heavy-duty three-layer protection to keep your Pixel 10 or Pixel 10 Pro safe. It’s scratch-resistant, shockproof and easy to install. Plus, it comes in several cool color combos, including purple with sky blue, black with bright orange and more.

For Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro

The SpiderCase offers “military-grade drop protection” in a sleek, translucent matte design. This is easily one of the best-looking early case options. It has magnets for the Pixel’s new MagSafe-like charging feature. You can choose from a handful of colors, including purple, green and hot pink.

For Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro

    Holster leather case: $24

This is marketed for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, but I’m sure it would work for any of the new Pixel 10 devices. It’s a phone belt case, which means it comes with loops and clips that you attach to your belt and wear on your waist. It has space for cards and cash and secures everything with a magnetic closure. It’s also leather, which is usually a more premium look.

This case is perfect for anyone who loves a retro case, think early 2000s. Or maybe it’ll make a nice addition to your Halloween costume this year.

    Qindaiwen case with kickstand: $15

Show off your personality while protecting your Pixel 10 with this case selection. There are nearly 30 unique designs, including an adorable black cat. This case supports the MagSafe-like charging feature and comes with a versatile kickstand. You can prop your Pixel up in portrait or landscape modes and even adjust the angle.

For Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro

Fold Pro case with kickstand: $30

This is another one for the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold. It’s a slim case made from hard plastic and has a built-in kickstand, which will probably come in handy. There are also several colors, including black, green and gold.

    Pixel 10 screen protectors

    Mr. Shield screen protector: $6

Depending on the Pixel 10 case you choose, you’ll get a bit of screen protection, usually in the form of a raised lip around the phone. If you want more, a tempered glass screen protector could be the solution. Screen protectors add little to no bulk but help prevent shattering. For $6, you’ll get three high-quality Japan glass protectors with 9H hardness. These are also fingerprint unlock compatible.

For Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro

    Milomdoi privacy screen: $10

Protect your screen and your information with a privacy screen protector for your new Pixel 10. If you use your phone in public, you know there are prying eyes everywhere. With these protectors, you won’t have to worry about anyone reading your spicy texts or work emails over your shoulder.

For Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro

    Anoowkoa screen protector: $8

If you opt to go without a case, a screen protector along with a camera lens protector will prevent scuffs and scratches. For $8, you’ll get three of each, just make sure you clip the on-page coupon.

For Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro

    Other Pixel 10 accessories

Pixelsnap charge and stand combo: $70

Google wants you to “snap on, power up, do more” with its Pixelsnap charger and stand duo. This is perfect for your desk setup or your nightstand. You can also detach the charger and take it on the go. Preorder now.

PopSockets are a cheap way to add personality to your phone while making it easier to hold. The adhesive grip is strong enough to stay in place and the socket can double as a kickstand.

    Switchbands phone grip: $12

PopSockets are useful, but they aren’t everyone’s favorite. With Switchbands, you can get a better grip on your device without the socket. These bands are reversible, thin but durable and you can customize them. You’ll also get a 90-day warranty from the company.

    Pixelsnap ring stand: $30

Stream your favorite shows, take calls, hop into meetings or read hands-free with Google’s Pixelsnap stand. The polished metal ring is shiny and sturdy, so it can keep your phone standing while complementing its design. It’s rotatable, portable and works with all Pixel 10 models. You can preorder it now.
