The Pixel 9 Pro Fold features all the bells and whistles of its predecessor, alongside a more durable hinge that lets it sit flat, seven years of OS updates for the foldable (up from three), and all the AI smarts you could ask for.

The main complaint that comes with foldable phones is that they are just too expensive. And while we’re probably years away from them becoming truly affordable, the best prices for them now come in the form of discounts that can be had from retailers and wireless carriers. Sure, you might have to be patient, but eventually, you’ll be able to scoop up top-end phones like the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold for $600 off.

And sure, the Made by Google event is just around the corner, which will most likely see the release of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, but if you aren’t looking to spend close to $2,000 on a new phone, then this deal on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is going to be for you. This is the best price that we’ve seen up until this point, which shaves an additional $100 off the previous best price. Grab it while the deal’s still live because this promotion won’t be around for much longer.

What’s great about the Pixel 9 Pro Fold?

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is a good phone. In fact, it was a world of difference from Google’s first attempt, delivering everything we could want from a second-generation foldable Pixel product. Sure, it isn’t perfect, but we love the design and how sleek it is, its fantastic primary display, and the wonderful Pixel software experience.

Google’s Tensor G4 chip is paired with 16GB of RAM to keep things running smoothly, and you also get a generous 256GB of internal storage as well. The real show-stopper is going to be the beautiful 8-inch screen that delivers excellent colors. It’s perfect for use in any environment and it is an absolute pleasure when you need access that extra screen real estate for reading web pages, playing games, or watching some media.

There’s also a 6.3-inch screen on the outside of the phone as well, making it easy to get things done when you don’t want to open the phone up. There’s a trio of cameras, with a 48MP main sensor, 10MP utlrawide, and 10MP telephoto. These aren’t the best cameras we’ve seen on a Pixel phone, but they’re good enough to get the job done whether you’re out in the park during peak daylight, or hitting some dark social scenes at night.

The hardware is tested and reliable, and the software is something that’s only going to just get better thanks to Google’s promise to support this device for seven years. We don’t know how this device will perform when it reaches its end, but at least you know that you’ll be getting the latest updates until that point, which makes the steep investment worth it. Again, the $600 discount is the largest we’ve seen. So if you’ve been holding out, get the Pixel 9 Pro Fold now.
